Surely there is something that you consider a bit of a treat for yourself. Whether it's a massage or a pumpkin spice latte, etc. What is something that provides you a bit of sanctuary and rest from the hustle and bustle? If you had an endless supply of time and money, what would you do? And don't say you'd move to the beach...I'm thinking something a little smaller scale.
For me, I'd use my endless money and time to have my hair washed and styled every day! Maybe I wouldn't appreciate my trip to the salon as much as I do these days, but I absolutely LOVE having my hair washed and of course never seem to be able to style it as wonderfully as the stylist.
So, what simple pleasures would you take advantage of if you had an endless supply of money and time??

The Painted Sky
In other news, Josh shaved his beard on Sunday afternoon and Jack seemingly just noticed on Monday evening. Here he is giving Josh the inspection.
We're also having our back deck expanded. (In fact, I hear the sounds of hammering right now!) We love being outside and love the view from the back of the house. We had talked about doing it for a while, but hadn't followed through with it. Taking the opportunity to employ some out of work builders, we finally bit the bullet. We're looking forward to seeing the finished product; and I'll be sure to share. If we can get our minds made up about what we want, the basement will be next.

What's the difference?
What's the difference in these two pictures? Besides the obivious: one's inside, the other's outside, one's at our house, the other's at the beach.

Stumped? Josh trimmed Jack's hair on the sides Saturday night. Can you believe he's old enough for a little haircut. Josh did the deed while I was out picking up dinner and movie once I returned from mine and Jack's quick trip to Rome. He had fun playing with his Grandmommy and Grandaddy and Aunt Kristy and Molly. Anyway, I came back and Josh said "you haven't noticed what we did while you were gone." Then, he called Jack to turn toward us and I spotted it right away. I couldn't believe it. He looks so much more like a little boy now. Anyway, it's not completely even since he was doing it alone and trying not to cut Jack's ear off. Thought you all would want to see the pictures!

A rare shot...
Unless you are a stranger to my blog, you know that mostly I blog about my little one, Jack. You also probably know that he has crazy hair that generally has a mind of its own. Well, tonight after his bath Jack still had a little bit of energy to get out and was playing in his exercauser. I kept thinking he looks so different...what is different about him? Then, it hit me...his hair was actually laying flat from being combed after his bath. So, here are a few rare shots of our little wild hair man. I guess he's still pretty handsome with normal hair! Oh, and just in case you forgot here's a picture of him on a normal day, which happened to be just about an hour or so before these other were taken.
